Buffalo Trace Reservation....Round 2

Wow. Just four days — that’s all it took to reserve 205 bottles. I'm genuinely blown away. Thank you to everyone who jumped in so quickly to support the Garnet Trust and to get your hands on what I think will be a Carolina collectors item for sure. Get a player or coach to sign it, and it will be even more special…maybe Sellers? No brainer if you can make it happen!

Only my Substack readers and a handful of folks in the Gamecock Bourbon Society private Facebook group (come join if you haven’t yet!) even knew about this. The response from y’all was amazing — so much so, I’ve decided to open up the remaining 45 or so bottles to y’all first. I feel that’s the least I can do for those of you that supported this project. Not to be understated either, we are supporting a small family owned store in the Columbia area.

A quick note on reservations:

• If this is your second bottle, please reserve just one.

• If you haven’t reserved one yet, feel free to grab up to two.

These will likely sell out by mid-day tomorrow, so don’t wait around — once they’re gone, it’s time to hurry up and wait.

What’s Next?

If deliveries go as planned, the bottles are scheduled to arrive Thursday. J.T. Riley and I will be meeting up Saturday to sticker them up and get everything prepped. If for some reason the shipment gets delayed, it’ll arrive the following week — but we’re keeping fingers crossed.

Membership Giveaway Update

I’ll be announcing the winners of the three (possibly four) Garnet Trust yearly memberships very soon. With our 3rd Annual Golf Tournament just around the corner, things have gotten a little crazier than expected on my end. There are about 6 four-some’s available if you want to play. I spoke with Stephen Garcia tonight, and he increased his likelihood of playing in the tournament and having a drink with you guys from 0% to what I call 90%. Fingers crossed again.

Once I sync up with Jeremy Smith at the Garnet Trust to figure out the best way to get these memberships to the winners, I’ll input all bottle purchasers into a random selector website and record the whole process. Full transparency, full fun, full year memberships.

Thanks again, y’all. Now go get the rest of those bottles for birthday or Christmas presents…or be selfish and go for a back-up. No shame in that game.
